The people are what make each school feel like home. Our Oakley teachers are warm, experienced, and here to know your child as an individual. Our teachers know the children as individuals, build relationships with families, and often stay with Sunshine House for years.
Chelsea
With us since 2013
Ms. Chelsea has been part of Sunshine House since 2013 and loves the bright smiles and hugs that make each day with children special. She brings a positive, encouraging spirit to the classroom and believes in helping children believe in themselves. Outside of school, she enjoys baking, exercising, Disneyland, Bay Area sports, and spending time with
her four dogs.
Angelica
With us since 2021
Ms. Angelica joined Sunshine House in 2021 and finds so much joy in helping children learn and grow. She especially values the wonderful connections she builds with our children, families, and staff. Outside of school, she enjoys Mexican food, Thanksgiving, and cheering on the 49ers.
Vanessa
With us since 2018
Ms. Vanessa has been part of Sunshine House since 2018 and loves watching children learn, grow, and discover new things. She brings a caring, family-centered spirit to her classroom each day. Outside of school, she enjoys barbecuing with her family, Sunday football, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

Katrice
With us since 2023
Ms. Katrice joined Sunshine House in 2023 and loves being part of children’s growth while watching their personalities and abilities develop. Her bright, cheerful nature helps her build meaningful connections with children and families. Outside of school, she enjoys time with her Yorkie,Prince, and appreciates the supportive community at Sunshine House.
Fabienne
Ms. Fabienne loves watching children grow from their very first day and strives to make sure every child feels safe, heard, and valued. Originally
from the Central African Republic, she brings a multicultural perspective and speaks two languages. Outside of school, she enjoys time with her son, organizing, relaxing with a good show, and everything about fall.
Bianca
Ms. Bianca has been teaching preschoolers since 1988 and brings decades of experience, warmth, and dedication to the classroom. She loves nurturing children’s natural curiosity while helping them develop a lifelong love of learning, kindness, and confidence. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, coastal hikes with her husband and dog, and tending to her garden and fruit trees.
Cianni
Ms. Cianni loves teaching because every day brings something new as she watches children learn and grow. She values adapting to each child’s individual learning style and creating experiences that meet their unique needs. Outside of school, she enjoys relaxing with an iced coffee and a good movie.
McKenna
Ms. McKenna loves helping children grow and strives to make sure every child in her classroom feels seen, heard, and loved. She especially enjoys
the warm hellos and hugs that start each school day. Outside of school, she enjoys playing and coaching softball, trying new things, traveling, and spending time with her large family and pets.
