The people are what make each school feel like home. Our Brentwood, Kid Zone (San Jose Ave) teachers are warm, experienced, and here to know your child as an individual. Our teachers know the children as individuals, build relationships with families, and often stay with Sunshine House for years.
Keri
With us since 2002
Ms. Keri has been part of Sunshine House since 2002 and loves the supportive, family-like environment she has found here. She values being part of a team that continues to learn, grow, and contribute together. Outside of school, she enjoys
decorating, remodeling projects, and spending time with her family.
Erika
With us since 2015
Ms. Erika joined Sunshine House in 2015 and brings a warm, family-oriented spirit to the program. She enjoys arts and crafts, decorating, organizing, and connecting with the children each day. A San Francisco native, she also loves spending time with family and cheering on the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors.
Shivangi
With us since 2023
Ms. Shivangi has been part of Sunshine House since 2016 and loves building strong connections with children, families, and coworkers. Born in India and fluent in multiple languages, she brings a wonderful multicultural perspective to the program. Sunshine House is especially meaningful to her because both her son and daughter are Sunshine House
graduates.
Cynthia
With us since 2019
Ms. Cynthia joined Sunshine House in 2019 and values creating a caring community where each child’s unique personality can shine. She believes sensitivity, humor, and connection help bring out the best in children. Outside of school, she enjoys
writing, baking, gardening, yellow roses, and celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Ariana
With us since
Ms. Ariana loves watching children grow and learning new things alongside them each day. She strives to create a safe, loving environment where every child feels comfortable, cared for, and excited to be there. Outside of school, she enjoys weekend trips, exploring coffee shops, spending time with her family, and being with her dog, Rocky.
Meghan
With us since
Ms. Meghan has a special connection to Sunshine House—she attended as a preschooler herself! She loves building meaningful relationships with school-age children, helping with homework, and encouraging teamwork while making sure every child feels valued. Outside of school, she enjoys playing and coaching soccer and traveling, with Barcelona being a favorite destination.
Oliana
With us since
Ms. Oliana loves the energy and laughter children bring to Sunshine House each day. She especially enjoys talking with students, understanding how they see the world, and creating a safe space where they feel comfortable coming to her with questions or concerns. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, reading, family and friends, and spending time with her two Rottweilers.
