The people are what make each school feel like home. Our Brentwood — Walnut Blvd. teachers are warm, experienced, and here to know your child as an individual. Our teachers know the children as individuals, build relationships with families, and often stay with Sunshine House for years.
Angel
With us since 2014
Ms. Angel has been part of Sunshine House since 2014 and is passionate about helping children grow into kind, open-minded people. She loves nurturing each child’s potential and being part of their early years. Outside of school, she enjoys family time, Giants baseball, Christmas, and relaxing at the beach or somewhere tropical.
Cani
With us since 2003
Ms. Cani has been part of Sunshine House since 2003 and treasures the family-like connections she has built here over the years. She believes in encouraging children to be confidently themselves as they learn and grow. Outside of school, she enjoys time with her husband, sons, and dog Cafe, and loves the color purple.
Diana
With us since 2019
Ms. Diana joined Sunshine House in 2019 and loves guiding young children as they explore, discover, and learn about the world around them. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys connecting with children and families and being part of such an important stage in their lives. Christmas is her favorite holiday, and if she could choose a superpower, she would love to fly!
Liz
With us since 1991
Ms. Liz has been part of the Sunshine House family since 1991, when her own three boys attended the school. She loves watching children learn and grow and says one of the best parts of teaching is how much they make her smile. Outside of school, she loves the color purple and celebrating Easter.
Maria
With us since 2022
Ms. Maria joined Sunshine House in 2022 and brings many years of teaching experience and a lifelong love of working with children. Her passion for teaching began when she volunteered in middle school and continued into a professional teaching
career right after high school. Outside of school, she enjoys family time, summer activities, and spending time with her two horses, Galan and Mina.
Blanca
With us since 2022
Ms. Blanca joined Sunshine House in 2022 and especially loves the rewarding experience of working with children ages 2–5. Born in Mexico and fluent in Spanish, she brings an additional way to connect with many of our children and families.
Outside of school, she enjoys winter, Christmas, sushi, Mexican food, and the color blue.
Diana
With us since 2022
Ms. Diana joined Sunshine House in 2022 and brings a creative, energetic spirit to her work with children. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys building connections with children and families and sharing her artistic side. Outside of school, she loves painting, working out, spending time with her sisters and pets, and celebrating Christmas.
