Meet Your Concord Preschool Teachers
The people are what make each school feel like home. Our Concord teachers are warm, experienced, and here to know your child as an individual. Our teachers know the children as individuals, build relationships with families, and often stay with Sunshine House for years.
Crystal
With us since 2016
Ms. Crystal has been part of Sunshine House since 2016 and believes the first five years play an important role in shaping a child’s future. She loves knowing that her work gives her the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. Outside of school, she enjoys adventures with her husband and watching her daughter dance.
Monica
With us since 2019
Ms. Monica joined Sunshine House in 2019 and brings her own warm personality and interests to our school community. She has a special love for animals, especially her dog Bubba and donkeys, and even played the trumpet. Outside of school, she especially enjoys the summer season.
Maira
With us since 2021
Ms. Maira has been part of Sunshine House since 2021 and brings a wonderful multicultural perspective to our school. Born in Mexico, she is fluent in Spanish and English and also speaks a little French. Outside of school, she loves the colors pink and green and especially enjoys Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Elisha
With us since 2018
Ms. Elisha has been part of Sunshine House since 2018 and loves helping children learn through playful, engaging experiences. Born on the Big Island of Hawaii, she has always had a creative side and especially enjoyed art in school. Outside of the classroom, she loves Halloween, Disneyland, and the children’s book “Are You My Mother?”
Carina
With us since 2022
Ms. Carina joined Sunshine House in 2022 and loves building meaningful bonds with both children and their families. Fluent in Spanish, she values the opportunity to make a positive impact during these important early years. Outside of school, she enjoys time with her family, summer, Christmas, trips to Mexico, and dreams of visiting Spain.
Lisa
With us since
Ms. Lisa loves watching children grow and celebrating the small moments that make each day meaningful. Her goal is to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment where every child can feel successful and cared for. Outside of school, she enjoys painting, arts and crafts, park trips with her dogs, and spending time with her daughter, Athena.
