June Ice Cream Cone Art Project

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream ?

We are kicking off summer with a fun sponge painting art project. Here’s what you will need

Brown & White Construction Paper
Scissors
Small Sponge cut into a circle
Glue
Small Dish or Paper plate
2-3 Colors of Paint (think sherbert colors)

Cut brown construction paper into a triangle (ice cream cone). Have your child glue the triangle to the bottom half of the white paper. Place a small amount of paint colors on the paper plate. Have your child dip the sponge in the paint and then gently onto the white paper (on top of the ice cream cone). Repeat with variety of colors until finished ?
